EVERYONE ASKS.

Is this really $4.95/mo forever? +
Yes. If you sign up before 30 June 2026, your price is locked at $4.95/mo for as long as your subscription stays active. We're walking the price up after June 30 ($7.95 in July, $9.95 in August, then $12.95 and eventually $14.95), but if you're in before the deadline, you keep $4.95 forever.
What if I'm a beginner? +
The Base plan is built for exactly this. A 4-week Zone 2 block with run/walk intervals, and you can repeat it as many times as you like. Built so anyone who can walk 30 minutes can finish it. You'll have a real aerobic base by the end and you'll be ready for the 5K plan after that.
What if I'm experienced? +
The Marathon plan peaks at a 32km long run. The 10K plan is VO2 focused with proper intervals. Sparkies is built for serious runners chasing serious times, not just couch-to-5K.
Do I get one-on-one coaching? +
Not in the formal 1:1 sense. You get coaching feedback on your runs via the comments. You can DM me through live chat when I'm online. If you want full one-on-one coaching, that's a separate service. Sparkies is the platform for everyone who wants structured coaching without the price tag of personal coaching.
What about my watch, Garmin or Apple Watch? +
You log runs manually right now, distance, pace, HR, the numbers your watch already gives you. You can also paste your Strava activity link. Direct watch integrations are on the roadmap.
Do I need a heart rate monitor? +
Not required, but strongly recommended. The HR zone coaching is one of the most valuable parts of Sparkies. A basic chest strap or wrist monitor works fine. No monitor? You can use perceived effort instead, but you'll get less out of the zone feedback.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Cancel anytime from your profile or through Stripe customer portal. No retention dark patterns. If you cancel during the free trial, no charge.
What if I don't like it? +
The 7-day free trial exists for this. If it's not for you, cancel before day 8 and you'll never be charged. Worst case you spend a week seeing what proper structured training feels like and walk away.
